Etihad Water and Electricity has launched the first phase of the smart application "Zayed's White Hands Around the World", which represents a digital documentation platform through which current and future generations learn about the path of goodness and giving, the historical stances of the late, and his humanitarian and relief efforts that he provided to humanity in various parts of the world. the world. EtihadWe Wins Two Awards in the "International Business Excellence Awards 2018"

Etihad Water and Electricity won two awards in the "International Business Excellence Awards" at its fourth edition, 2018. The two awards were for "Sustainability Category" and "Overall Score".

The awards were received by Mrs. Maha Mohammed, Director of Strategy & The Future Dept. and Mr. Omar Al Shehhy, Director of Quality & Corporate Excellence Section.

The "International Business Excellence Awards" is organized annually by the "Awards International Organization" which is located in the UK, in collaboration with "Department of Economic Development" in Dubai, with a large number of local, regional and international institutions participate to review their outstanding initiatives and projects. 36 local, regional, and international institutions took place in the "International Business Excellence Awards" this year, with 123 presentations in 34 categories of 18 diverse business sectors.

The sustainability category focuses on the strategies and projects that have a direct impact on global sustainability issues in key aspects, particularly energy, climate change, natural resources, and pollution. In this context, EtihadWe presentation was about "Ghalila Desalination Plant" where the latest desalination technologies in the world are utilized, and therefore to receive the award of the best reverse osmosis water desalination plant for 2016.

The Director General, Mohammed Mohammed Saleh, expressed his happiness with this achievement, pointing out that the efforts exerted by EtihadWe are in implementation of the Government's directives in the areas of sustainability and conservation of natural resources, which contribute to realizing the UAE Vision 2021.
